Brown Sugar Porkchops

An easy dinner favorite – pork chops with a golden caramelized crust that locks in the flavor.


Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in Pork chops
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl combine all seasonings.
  2. Pat pork chops dry with paper towel and rub seasoning evenly on both sides of each chop.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side until they have a nice golden caralelized crust.
  4. Once done, remove the pork chops from heat and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
